Tour Puno, Uros, Amantani, Taquile (2 days)
Description
During this two-day boat trip to the Uros, Amantani and Taquile islands you will visit the local people and admire their typical houses. On the islands you will find an intact and changeable nature. You can also spend a night in a local family and get to know entirely the local life.
First day
After breakfast at your hotel we will pick you up to take you to the port at 7:30am. We will take a boat to the Uros islands, then go on to Amantani (25minutes) Island which is important for its environmental and ethnic values we go to visit the place for 1 hour and them we will continue to Amantani Island, arriving at 1:30pm. You will have lunch and get settled in the houses of local people. In the tour of the island is included, visiting Pacha Tata and Pacha Mama Temples (Father Earth and Mother Earth). We will have dinner in the house and then, we go to a special place were if you want you can to put the typical clothes of the local people to dance with them who will prepare a welcome for you.
Second day
Next day, after an Andean breakfast in your host family's home, we will take a boat to Taquile Island which is as important as Amantani in terms of its landscape and the ethnic ways of the inhabitants who still abide by their traditional, ancestral customs. On the islands of Amantani or Taquile the people offer lodging and food in their own houses. After lunch we will return to Puno by boat which takes between three and four hours.
